Shanti Mindcare was conceptualized by Dr Amitabha Datta in the early 2010's and Shanti Mindcare Pvt Ltd was incorporated as a private Limited company in 2018. Dr Amitabha Datta wanted to provide world class humane psychiatric care and rehabilitation at affordable cost to the population of north Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Assam and other adjoining areas. He was assisted in this venture by psychiatrists Dr Arunava Datta.
